We require 12 hours notice to incur no penalty.
We realise that there are unforeseen circumstances and are always happy to assist. However we turn away other clients to hold your booking so cancellations with less notice may result in a $50 service charge. Thank you for understanding.
Yes you can. Please let me know upon booking if you would like additional time. You can extend your massage sessions by 15-30minutes whether it be for specific areas of issue (eg. neck, shoulders, hips, feet), trigger points, energy or sound healing.
Extra time will incur extra fees (please see services page).
At this time, it is unlikely that your Lomi Lomi massage will be covered by your Private Health Insurance.
Our current days of operation are Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Please email [email protected] to arrange times outside those available on the online booking system – additional fees may apply.
For a Lomi Lomi massage to be effective, the therapist will need to apply certain oils to your body; this is why it is suggested that you are undressed during the session (however it is ultimately your choice what you wear).
A sarong/towel is placed over you throughout the session to ensure you are warm and comfortable. Your genitals will always remain covered. Women can also simply unhook their bra if they prefer not to be fully nude.
Your private parts are covered with a sarong at all times. The sides of the buttocks are massaged and this is why it is suggested to be completely undressed. This doesn’t have any sexual innuendo – it’s just because many movements are done along the side the whole body, from the feet to the head.
Lomi Lomi massage does include chest and breast massage for both men and women. However if you would prefer not to have this area massaged please let me know.
Unless you request otherwise, your chest and breasts will be undraped as I massage them.
It’s usually safe for someone with an injury to receive a lomi lomi massage – however it’s always best to discuss this with your doctor first. You should also inform your massage therapist of any existing injuries beforehand; this will allow them to adjust their technique and pressure accordingly.
